The conference will be held in Ghent, a nice mediaeval city, situated in the heart of Flanders. Next to nice pubs and restaurants, the town hosts several museums, the castle of the duke of Flanders, a belfry and Ghent University. In the cathedral, the famous altarpiece ‘Triptych of the Holy Lamb’, by Jan and Hubert Van Eyck, is at display.

The conference venue is "Het Pand", a mediaeval Domenican monastery that currently belongs to the patrimony of the Ghent University. The venue dates back to 1201 and is currently equipped for conferences.

More details on how to reach Ghent and the conference site will be provided later.
